                          On November 2001 a group of                                                                            Filipino educators, engineers  and businessmen had                                    convened and discussed the  possibility of putting                                        up science and technology school to address the                                            opportunities now at hand due to the 21st century                                        technology and economic advancements. The                                                Philippines,  however,is far behind compare to other                                     developed countries with regards to this

development. The need to highly educated and well trained

workforce in the Philippines and all around the globe created an industry for itself. In fact millions of workers, not only Filipinos,

seek and get employment in foreign companies located within their country or abroad to fill up this yawning need.

* To promote the value of learning, self-worth, quality performance among students and staff, and transition for students to productive and responsible participation in society.

* To promote and nurture service excellence.

* To reach, educate, inspire, grow  and nurture today's generation.

* To provide a distinctively-Christian environment of educational excellence while challenging the academically accelerated individual.

*  To prepare the students to be globally competitive in the industry.

* To continue on new roads of research and discovery in our existing areas of expertise, in emerging disciplines, and in related interdisciplinary areas.

* To provide the educational resource that working professionals need to keep pace with developments in their field.

* To magnify our positive impact in serving regional, state, national, and global needs by building mutually beneficial linkages with business, industry, community colleges, and other constituencies.

OUR GOALS

   Students of Microsystems International Institute of Technology are expected to behave as worthy members of the institute. As MIITinians, whether inside or outside the campus, their conduct should be an asset to the school, to themselves, and to their parents. The Administration looks upon each student as a guardian of school regulations and holds each one responsible for their observance.

A. In the Campus

     1.  At MIIT, everyone is expected to be friendly, respectful and helping one another at all times is MIITinians value which should be practiced.

     2.  Students should behave properly at all times, and should be courteous to the Faculties, Administrative personnel, Board of Directors, parents and                     visitors.

     3.  Students should take good care of the school property and facilities; vandalism is prohibited and is subject to disciplinary action.

     4.  Cleanliness should always be observed. Littering is strictly prohibited. Silence should always be observed.

     5.  Students are expected to wear the prescribed uniform with identification card at all times during school days and official school activities.

     6.  English should be spoken at all times within the campus.

     7.  All students are required to wear the uniform prescribed by the school from Monday to Friday except  Wednesday, which is a wash day. 

     8.   For reasons of decency and neatness, all boys are required to have haircuts.

     9.  All students are encouraged to be simple in appearance. Girls are prohibited from wearing dangling or multiple earrings. Color of ribbons, hair                           bands or hairclips must match the uniform and not multi colored.

     10.  Alcohol, prohibited drugs, gambling, and all illegal activities are not allowed in the school campus.

     11.  Dress code for women:

             a.  Should wear the prescribed uniform with ID

             b.  Black close shoes.

     12.  Dress code for men:

              a.  Should wear the prescribed uniform with ID

              b.  Leather Black shoes

B. Inside the Classroom

       1.  Prayer should be said reverently and cleary before and after each class.

       2. No one is allowed to transfer from one seat to another without the teacher's permission.

       3.  Students should maintain the academic posture.

       4.  A student caught and confirmed cheating in any test gets zero for the particular test.

       5.  Writing, drawing or carving on the walls, chairs or tables are strictly prohibited.

       6.  Assigned working students should take charge of putting off electric fans and lights inside the classroom after use.

C. At the Comfort Rooms

       1. Students are expected to keep the comfort rooms clean, by not throwing pieces of paper on the floor, and by not putting marks on the walls,                especially indecent markings.
